1.14 We advise you to have any parts or accessories purchased from us fitted by a competent qualified professional as some manufactures guarantees conditions state that you must use a qualified cycle technician to fit the parts or accessories otherwise you may affect or even void your warranty. We will not accept any responsibility or be held liable for any damages, loss or injury incurred to yourself, others or your property due to incorrect fitting or incompatibility. It is your responsibility to make sure parts and accessories are fitted correctly and are suitable for the bicycle you are fitting them to. If you are are unsure about the suitability of a product please contact us before purchasing and we will do our best to advise you. The advise given is true to the best of our knowledge and is given in response to limited information you provided us however always read and follow any manufactures recommendations, we do not accept responsibility for any injury, loss or damage accrued to you, others or your property due to incorrectly following advise or manufactures recommendation.
1.15 All material contained on this website is provided without any or warranty of any kind. You use the material on this website at your own discretion.
Exclusion of liability
1.16 We do not accept liability for any loss or damage that you suffer as a result of using this website.
1.17 Nothing in these terms and conditions shall exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence which cannot be excluded or under the law of the United Kingdom.
1.18 We do our best to make sure all products are dispatched promptly however if there are delays we will inform you via email. Goods will be delivered no later than 30 days after your order has been placed.
1.19 Please note delivery dates are estimates and are subject to delay due to extreme weather condition or strike action of which we have no control. Please allow for up to 7 working days for delivery following the dispatch of your order.
1.20 Delivery to PO box addresses is not possible and delivery to hotels and other third party locations is not advised. We accept no liability for any damaged to items once they are delivered.
Cancellations, returns and refunds
1.21 All customers have the right to cancel their order under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation & Additional Charges) Regulations.
1.22 Your right to cancel an order for goods starts the moment you place your order and ends 14 days from the day you receive your goods.
1.23 To meet the cancellation deadline, please notify us via email or phone about cancelling the order before the cancellation period has expired.
1.24 If you are in possession of the goods you are under the duty to retain them and take reasonable care of them. You must send the goods back to us to our contact address at your own cost (unless we delivered the item to you in error or the item is damaged or defective) as soon as possible once you have cancelled the order.
1.25 We reserve the right to make a charge not exceeding our direct costs of recovering the goods if you do not return the goods or return them at our expense.
1.26 Once you have notified us that you wish to cancel the order, any sum debited to us will be refunded to you as soon as possible and in any event within 14 days of your cancellation.
1.27 You will not have any right to cancel an order for the supply of any of the following goods:
(a) the supply of goods that are made to the customer's specification or are clearly personalised.
(b) the supply of newspapers, periodicals or magazines.
1.28 In addition you will lose your right to cancel if you:
(a) unseal goods that are not suitable for return if they are unsealed, due to health protection or hygiene reasons.
(b) unseal audio, video recordings or computer software that were sealed at the time of delivery.
(c) combine goods with other goods after delivery so that they become inseparable.
1.29 When placing an order you are guaranteeing that you have sufficient funds available, are the authorised user of the payment method and all information you have provided is true and accurate.
1.30 When placing an order on our website you are entering into an agreement to purchase that item. We reserve the right to not accept your offer to purchase products for any reason, if this is the case then any payment made to Icon Cycles will be refunded in full to the original payment method provided at point of sale. this may occur if a product has become out of stock and can not be obtained in a reasonable amount of time or if we believe the purchase was made with fraudulent materials.
1.31 All orders are subject to availability and in the event the product has become out of stock or unavailable from our suppliers we will inform you via email and offer you an alternative where and alternative is available.
If you are unhappy with a service or product you have been provided please contact us by telephone or email and we will do our best to resolve the issue.
Law and jurisdiction
These terms and conditions are governed by English law. Any dispute arising in connection with these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England and Wales.
